Nelson County is accepting applications for the first Board of Directors of the Nelson County Recreation Foundation. This independent foundation will work with Nelson County Parks and Recreation to raise private funds for local programs, events, and facilities. The Board of Supervisors will appoint board members. Initial terms will be two or three years, with later terms lasting two years.
