Weak Saturday Tornado Confirmed In Todd County (w/PHOTOS)

The National Weather Service in Paducah confirmed that an EF-1 tornado briefly touched down around 12:40 Saturday morning in southern Todd County.

The tornado produced winds of 98 MPH, remained on the ground for 1.6 miles, and reached a maximum width of 75 yards.

The storm assessment survey was conducted by Todd County Emergency Management Director Ash Groves, who confirmed that 10 electrical poles and several tree tops snapped, one center pivot irrigation line flipped, and a shed was destroyed.
