Socomec is expanding its North American footprint with a $10 million investment in a new production and operations facility in Suwanee, Georgia. The France-based electrical systems manufacturer plans to create approximately 300 new jobs as part of the move, strengthening its capacity to serve customers across the U.S. and Canada.
The facility — located at 2935 Shawnee Industrial Way — will focus on delivering switching, energy conversion, monitoring, and storage solutions. Operations are expected to ramp up in early 2026, with hiring for production and operational roles beginning in Q1.
