Gainesville High School teacher Lauren Watts was suspended for giving a student a ‘Most Likely to Become a Dictator’ superlative after an investigation into her conduct found probable cause for disciplinary action.
Watts received a one-day unpaid suspension and is required to complete sensitivity training. She was also ordered to submit a “written reflection” on how she plans to conduct herself professionally and treat students with respect in the future, according to a written reprimand to Watts from Alachua County Public Schools first obtained by TV20.
