CARLISLE- While trucking and logistics remain a key industry in the tristate, some operators may have to find a new employer very soon.
Two Cumberland County transport and logistics companies have filed WARN notices to signal mass layoffs. Keen Transport, located at 1951 Harrisburg Pike, Carlisle will see 52 people laid off, with GXO Logistics Worldwide, located at 100 Carolina Way in Carlisle, will see 69 jobs laid off.
Keen says that their effective date for the layoffs are scheduled for January 20th, 2026. GXO says that their effective date will begin on January 12th, 2026 with an end date of May 30th, 2026…
