Southland gas prices drop for 12th straight day

LOS ANGELES (CNS) – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Saturday for the 12th consecutive day, decreasing 1.2 cents to $4.779.

The average price has dropped 10.8 cents over the past 12 days, including seven-tenths of a cent Friday, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It is 5.4 cents less than one week ago, but 12.6 cents more than one month ago and 32.2 cents more than one year ago. It has dropped $1.714 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022…
