Polk County Solid Waste has updated its residential collection schedule for Thanksgiving Day 2025. There will be no curbside collection in unincorporated Polk County on Thursday, November 27. Thursday collections will take place on Friday, and Friday collections will move to Saturday.
The North Central Landfill and North Central Transfer Station in Bartow will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. Both facilities will reopen on Friday, November 28.
