A tree crashed down on top of a driver as heavy rain fell in Los Angeles’ Westlake District overnight.
The unidentified motorist was traveling on West Olympic Boulevard near South Alvarado Street around 11 p.m. Thursday when the falling tree crushed part of their car.
Video showed that the back of the car, which appeared to be a Lexus, was barely visible through the tree’s branches.
The driver was able to escape the vehicle, but it was not immediately clear if they were injured in the incident…
