Horry County leaders seek input on affordable housing crisis solutions

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – The need for housing has become a big issue in the city of Myrtle Beach and Horry County, and now leaders are asking for your input on what can be done to help solve the problem.

“We have over 40% of our population that are working that are struggling to make ends meet because of the wages and just the cost of living here,” said Blakely Roof, executive director of United Way of Horry County.
