NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Nashville Humane Association is seeking a forever home for a furry friend who is the shelter’s “straight-A student!”
According to the NHA, Luke is 1 year old, weighs approximately 61 pounds, and looks like a mix of an Australian Cattle Dog (also known as a Red Heeler) and a Pit Bull Terrier.
“He has been on Doggie Date’s and absolutely aced his report card! His new friends said he knows ‘leave it,’ sits like a champ, walks great on leash, and rides in the car like a total pro,” the shelter said. “Luke started out a little shy, but once he warmed up, he was gentle, polite meeting new people, and oh-so-cuddly!”
Luke is dog friendly — albeit a little rough and rowdy — and the NHA described him as an “A+ companion” who’s ready to steal your heart…
