ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — An 18-year-old student at Eastridge High School was found to have a BB gun in their backpack, according to the school’s principal.
The IPD revealed that the BB/airsoft gun had a real 9mm magazine shoved in the pistol, with one real bullet. They determined that the gun could not fire real ammunition.
An email was sent to Eastridge families confirming that the school was put on hold-in-place. This came after an anonymous report of a student in possession of a firearm. The Irondequoit Police Department took the student into custody.
