Oxnard man arrested after alleged attempted carjacking
An Oxnard man was arrested Nov. 18 after he allegedly crashed into a utility pole and attempted to carjack a person nearby.
Deputies with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection of Ojai Avenue and Maricopa Highway in Ojai shortly before 9 p.m. Nov. 18 after receiving a call that a vehicle collision had occurred, said sheriff’s Capt. Jason Karol.
