Palm Beach County Commission working to fix transportation pains

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — We all know how difficult it can be to get around Palm Beach County – and but it’s not just inconvenient. It can also be dangerous.

Palm Beach County looked back at five years of crash data from 2019-2023, and found that there were over 200,000 crashes on Palm Beach County roads, and over 900 people were killed.

That’s a big reason why the county has launched a Transportation Safety Action Plan – an attempt to speak with the leaders of local municipalities to see what they want to see on their roadways. They’ve also hosted a number of town halls to speak to people about their pain points on the roadways…
