Easier Access for Local Residents: Camp Robinson Trails Updates Pass System for Outdoor Users

Camp Robinson in North Little Rock, Arkansas, offers over 40 miles of single-track trails. These trails, among the oldest in the state, are open to mountain bikers, runners, and hikers. The area also allows hunting and fishing, serving both the community and military personnel.

As of November 2025, the process for obtaining or renewing a yearly Camp Robinson Recreation/Sportsman’s Pass has changed. Passes are now available every day and at any time. Previously, passes were sold only at local bike shops. The pass is required for regular trail use and helps support maintenance and security.

The Central Arkansas Trail Alliance (CATA), a nonprofit group, organizes volunteers to maintain the trails. CATA also holds mentorship rides for Youth Challenge students. Local high school students use the trails for mountain bike racing with their NICA teams…
