ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – From photography, paintings, handcrafted gifts and decades-old hobbies, dozens of Wesley Willows residents filled the Castle Town Center Auditorium Saturday Nov. 22 for the community’s second annual art exhibition.
Organizer Bob Eiss says the idea came from wanting residents to share their talents with each other and the community.
“I went to the current auxiliary board, and I said, you know, I think it would be kind of fun to have an event where only Wesley Willow residents, could display their talent, or their interest, everything from hobbies to artwork, and photography, there were just so many opportunities,” said Eiss.
Around 350 people attended last year’s show, and Eiss expected a similar turnout this year…
