2 business closures highlight challenges faced by Asian owned, led businesses in Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Two Austin staples that have been around for the better part of the last two decades will be no more by the year’s end.

Hana World Market has been anticipating an end-of-year closure due to rising costs of rent and supplies, and Koriente in downtown Austin abruptly shut its doors this week.
