TULSA, Okla. — John 3:16 Mission is giving away thousands of Thanksgiving meals to families in need this holiday weekend.
The annual Thanksgiving Food Box Giveaway kicks off Saturday, Nov. 22, and continues Monday, Nov. 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the John 3:16 Family and Youth Center, located at 2027 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The event is drive-thru only.
Each family will receive a box filled with all the sides for a traditional Thanksgiving meal, including corn, green beans and instant potatoes, along with a turkey. No ID or registration is required. Families can receive one box per household, with a maximum of two per car…
