CSPD asks community’s help finding missing elderly woman

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is asking for the community’s help to find 83-year-old Suzanne Downs, who was last seen in the 4000 block of Briargate Parkway, near North Powers Boulevard in Colorado Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21.

According to CSPD, Downs is a 4’09” tall and 85 lb white woman with gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white, black, and pink floral blouse and a brown and cream sweater with black pants. She is associated with a brown 2011 Honda CR-V, with a Colorado License plate numbered 644YBE.

CSPD reported that her vehicle was spotted at 7:40 p.m. heading north on I-25 near Palmer Divide in Douglas County, possibly heading toward the Castle Rock or Denver area. Downs suffers from a cognitive impairment, which may affect her memory, and she does not have a phone with her.
