Albuquerque, NM – The National Weather Service (NWS) in Albuquerque has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the northern mountains of New Mexico, warning of snow, strong winds, and challenging travel conditions beginning early Sunday.
According to the NWS, snow will develop after 2 a.m. Sunday and continue through midnight, with 3 to 8 inches of accumulation expected above 8,500 feet and totals approaching 10 inches on the highest peaks.
