BATH TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WJW) – One of three people accused of firing shots at a local Airbnb party in Bath Township appeared in court Saturday morning.

19-year-old Jashawn Stewart is charged with murder and nine counts of felonious assault. On Saturday, a judge set Stewart’s bond at $3 million.
Stewart was arrested on Friday, along with 18-year-old Derquan Edwards and a 16-year-old, for allegedly firing shots at a rental home earlier this month on Top-O-Hill Drive.
Nine people in total were hurt, and an 18-year-old later died of his injuries.
Body camera video worn by Bath Township police officers showed the chaos they encountered after dozens of rounds from as many as four weapons were fired into the crowd.

Investigators believe 250 to 300 people attended the party.
Authorities did not announce a motive or how all of the people involved in the shooting may have known each other. However, the three arrested suspects are not believed to be involved in organizing the event held at the Airbnb.
