Man arrested for third time for same July chase that started in Bethlehem

DELMAR– A 65-year-old Troy man still has not been to court voluntarily to address an incident involving a black Dodge Dakota pickup truck in July. He has been taken to court twice in handcuffs after not showing up, but he was released again on Wednesday, Nov. 12 under the supervision of probation.

According to reports, Mark Pullen was allegedly driving the truck on Route 9W in Glenmont on July 7 without lights on. A Bethlehem patrol unit observed this and attempted to stop Pullen at that point, but he continued approximately 6.6 miles into Rensselaer County before the truck came to a stop near the intersection of Routes 7 and 43.

Pullen was taken into custody until police could figure out what happened. An investigation found that Pullen did not have a license and the truck was not his and police did not know who owned it because the truck had a stolen license plate from New Jersey, was not registered or inspected…
