Kidd O’Shea has said goodbye to Washington viewers after a little more than a decade on ABC7-WJLA. The longtime Good Morning Washington co-host and travel correspondent, who joined the station in August 2015, wrapped up his final show on Friday, November 21.
He’ll next be seen on Milwaukee NBC affiliate WTMJ-TV, where he’s set to join the TMJ4 News Today morning team in December as a traffic anchor and community correspondent. O’Shea has been a familiar face to D.C.-area viewers on Good Morning Washington, where he split his time between the anchor desk, feature segments, and travel coverage. As the show’s travel correspondent, he highlighted destinations ranging from local attractions to international getaways, including recent coverage showcasing tourism and culture in Algeria.
Beyond travel, O’Shea frequently popped up “around town” at community events, restaurant openings, and small businesses across the region, helping to spotlight local stories and personalities for morning viewers. Next month, he’ll return to his home market in Wisconsin.
