On Friday, November 28, 2025, Main Street in Downtown Hendersonville will host the annual Tree Lighting at the Historic Courthouse Plaza. The event begins at 5 p.m. with music from Drayton & The Dreamboats. Santa Claus is scheduled to arrive just before 6 p.m. to lead the countdown to the lighting of the Christmas Tree and Main Street.
After the tree is lit at 6 p.m., families can visit Santa inside the Historic Courthouse. Complimentary carriage rides from Carolina Horse and Carriage will be available until 8 p.m. Local vendors will offer warm drinks and sweet treats for purchase.
