BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office ruled a fatal shooting that occurred Wednesday as justifiable, according to the Birmingham Police Department.
According to the BPD, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 2300 block of 33rd Avenue North at around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday on a report of a person shot. Officers found Willie Raby, 32, in the front yard suffering from a gunshot wound. Raby was taken to UAB Hospital and pronounced dead later that evening.
