Kern County prepares for an extended dry spell as Pacific ridging deflects storm tracks

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — For the first time since the first half of this month, Kern County is expecting an extended period of dry weather – lasting more than several hours!

Pacific ridging will develop eastward into southcentral California keeping the storm track away for much of this new week ahead. Daytime temperatures will slowly inch upward but are expected to fall just short of average, yet again…
