Storms Possible This Week, But Thanksgiving Looking Cool & Quiet!

TODAY:This morning we’re waking up a little cooler with mainly 60s, and a few 50s across the region. We are dealing with some foggy conditions again this morning, so drive carefully. This afternoon, expect lots of sunshine with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 70s. A few places could hit 80 as we continue to stay well above average.

THANKSGIVING WEEK:Thanksgiving week will start out quite warm with some locations reaching 80°. Monday will be dry with a mix of sun and clouds and highs near 80. Tuesday, we stay warm with highs near 80, but we’ll be watching for a few showers and storms in the afternoon, all ahead of a frontal system. A few storms could be strong to severe, mainly north and west of Columbus, but we aren’t expecting widespread severe weather. The chance for showers and storms will continue into the first half of Wednesday, but behind the front, conditions should be improving in the afternoon. Highs will be in the low 70s. Behind the front we’ll also see some cooler air settle in, with lows in the 40s, and maybe a few upper 30s, for Thanksgiving morning. Afternoon highs on Thursday will be near 60. Friday morning will be the coolest with morning lows well into the 30s, so we could defintely see some frost. Friday’s highs will again be near 60.

THIS WEEKEND:Saturday won’t be quite as cool as we start to warm up a bit with morning lows in the upper 30s, and afternoon highs in the low to mid 60s. Clouds will return to picture as well. Sunday is looking dry too, but warmer, with highs possibly as warm as the low 70s…
