Firefighters battle large commercial blaze in south Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Firefighters responded to a commercial fire early Sunday morning along Harmon Avenue in south Columbus.

The blaze erupted at an asphalt facility, with liquid asphalt and natural gas fueling the flames. Nearly two dozen fire crews were dispatched to the scene, including investigators and a hazmat team.

Hazmat was eventually cleared after no leak of chemicals was found.
