PSP, Marine Corps hosting annual toy drive for kids

Pennsylvania State Police and the Marine Corps Reserve are joining forces to make sure no child goes without a Christmas present this holiday.

The two organizations will be hosting their 10th annual “Stuff the Cruiser” event on Saturday from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Walmart on Downs Drive, off of Peach Street.

Community members are asked to bring new, unwrapped, non-violent toys for children ages infant to 17.

State police said that one in five children in Erie County lives in poverty, and the “Toys for Tots” drive will go a long way to bringing Christmas joy to children in need.
