MI winemaker: Industry faces changing interests, challenges

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Grand Rapids International Wine, Beer and Food Festival returns Nov. 21-22, bringing together winemakers from across Michigan to showcase regional products. Tickets are available at GRWineFestival.com.

Bryan Ulbrich, owner and winemaker at Left Foot Charley in Traverse City, will participate in the festival. He said the wine industry faces challenges adapting to changing consumer preferences while managing environmental pressures affecting Michigan vineyards.
