On November 22, 2025, Atlanta police responded to a shooting at the intersection of Joseph E. Boone Boulevard NW and Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard NW. Officers found a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his right leg. He was alert and taken to the hospital for treatment.
