MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A Memphis man is facing numerous charges for allegedly leading a state trooper on a chase following an attempt to pull him over for a headlight outage.
Cortney Currie, 37, is facing multiple misdemeanor and felony charges.
According to the arrest affidavit, at 5:58 p.m. Thursday, a state trooper saw a white Toyota Camry with a headlight out driving in Oakville near the airport.
The driver reportedly evaded the trooper’s attempt at a traffic stop, running multiple red lights, stop signs, and almost striking other vehicles in the process…
