$50K stolen from high-end retailers in Nashville over four months, arrest made

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — An organized retail crime suspect is facing 28 charges after being accused of stealing more than $50,000 worth of merchandise from numerous Nashville businesses over the past several months.

20-year-old Alanna James is jailed in Davidson County early Saturday morning for 16 thefts at Norstrom, Alo Yoga, Lululemon, Nike, and Sephora at Kohl’s stores throughout Nashville between July and September, according to arrest records.

In many cases, James would reportedly enter the store with at least one accomplice, grab merchandise, and run out without paying. Merchandise stolen from the stores include leggings, t-shirts, shorts, jackets, hoodies, body care products, bras, sports bras, pants, sweatshirts and sweatpants…
