A closer look at Alabama’s newly-drawn state senate map

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Two Alabama lawmakers are representing districts that will look different in just about a year.

A federal judge ordered Tuesday for Alabama to use a new state senate map, which changes the borders of two districts in and around the capital city in an effort to give greater representation to Black voters in Montgomery.
