Woman gives false name when questioned about allegedly kicking in door

A Leesburg woman was arrested after giving police a false name while being questioned about allegedly kicking in someone’s door.

An officer responded to a Leesburg residence where 33-year-old Wendy Shabrina Rolle kicked in the door around 10:25 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.

A resident of the home advised that she did not live there but had recently battered him and kicked his door when he refused to let her in. She then locked herself in the bathroom and was still there when the officer commanded her to come out. She listened, stepping out to be escorted outside the residence, the report said.

Rolle was reluctant to identify herself during the interview that followed. She gave a false name and birthdate, which an officer who knew her personally called out. She then provided her real information, and the officers learned she had an active warrant out of Lake County, the report said…
