The Foundation of HOPE held graduation ceremonies for its men’s and women’s Pre-Release program participants at Allegheny County Jail. On November 19, 18 men graduated. Aaron Thomas, Southwest Pennsylvania Area Director of Volunteers of America, gave the keynote address. On November 20, 21 women graduated. The event included a performance by violinist Devin Arrington and remarks from several graduates.
The Foundation of HOPE is an interfaith nonprofit. It offers Chaplaincy and Pre-Release programs to incarcerated individuals. The programs aim to help participants develop skills for reentry.
