Roanoke Police, U.S. Marshals issue dozens of warrants, seize firearms and drugs

ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) — A warrant operation conducted by the Roanoke Police Department and a task force with the U.S. Marshals Service led to dozens of warrants issued, numerous arrests, and the seizure of multiple firearms and drugs.

The five-day operation was carried out from November 10 through the 14th. During that time, 67 felony warrants and 33 misdemeanor warrants were served and 348 summons were issued.

Three rifles and five handguns were seized, along with one ounce of cocaine, 67 grams of Fentanyl, three OxyContin pills, 160 grams of marijuana and $3,000 in cash. One stolen vehicle was also recovered…
