ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The family of Willie Mayhall continued their search for justice after he was shot and killed at a gas station in Rochester earlier this week. News10NBC’s Declan Stablow spoke with Mayhall’s family as they paid tribute to him.
On Saturday, Mayhall’s family and friends gathered at the gas station on the corner of Norton and Saint Paul Street for a balloon release in his honor. Mayhall was shot and killed at this location last Tuesday. His daughter, Nevaehia, said she feels comfortable there, despite it being the place where he took his last breath. The family said the community meant a lot to him.
No arrests have been made in connection with Mayhall’s death. His sister, Tiffany Sinclair, said the community’s support gives her hope that justice will be served…
