A 91-year-old woman who faced eviction to make way for Micron’s chip plant has reached a deal with Onondaga County, according to Spectrum News.
Azalia King will receive compensation from the county’s industrial agency and eventually move from her Clay home, which she and her late husband sold in 2005 under a life estate agreement. Officials had recently threatened to use eminent domain.
