LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas crowds cheered in the rain as a series of bands played for the free event, which last year attracted around 160,000 attendees.
The lineup of 41 bands was paid for and organized in part by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and downtown casino owners like Derek Steves.
“I think it really matches up a lot with what we’re trying to do in Las Vegas right now,” Stevens said. “We’re trying to bring a lot more value back. And then we took what we learned from last year and just amped it up a notch.”…
