GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – A man was arrested on battery charges after attacking two family members, including an elderly woman, Saturday night.
The incident occurred at an America’s Best Value Inn in Gainesville, where Alachua County Sheriff’s deputies say John McHugh, 50, became physically aggressive after arguing with the first victim over their living situation.
