MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) – Two people died a fiery crash that shut down Lott Road (Alabama 217) near Lanier Lane in Sunday afternoon, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said.
After previously stating that two vehicles were involved, authorities this evening confirmed that the wreck happened around 3:55 p.m. about 10 miles north of Semmes and involved only one car.
According to ALEA, a Honda Accord driven by 49 year-old Johnnie C. Murray left the roadway, hit a tree and burst into flames Murray, and her passenger, 57-year-old Daniel Murray, both of Chunchula, were pronounced dead at the scene…
