San Bernardino freeway pursuit ends in fatal crash ejecting 2 adults, 2 juveniles

One person was killed after a 48-mile pursuit on the 210 Freeway ended in a rollover crash that ejected two adults and two juveniles late Saturday night in San Bernardino, authorities said.

The incident began around 11:48 p.m. on Nov. 22, when San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputies attempted to stop a vehicle near Arden Avenue and the westbound 210 Freeway for a “moving violation,” according to the Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies said the driver refused to pull over, leading to a pursuit that reached speeds of more than 130 mph as the vehicle weaved through traffic and attempted to flee. The chase stretched for nearly 50 miles across the freeway system…
