Nonprofit HABLA hosts holiday food distribution event for Austin families ahead of Thanksgiving

AUSTIN, Texas — As Thanksgiving approaches, a local nonprofit is stepping up to ensure Austin families have access to fresh food.

On Saturday morning, Hispanic Advocates Business Leaders of Austin (HABLA) organized a drive-thru food distribution event aimed at supporting families facing food insecurity.

The group set out to serve at least 500 households with fresh produce, responding to a growing need in the community.
