(Lewis) Iowa snowmobile owners are no longer required to purchase and display an annual trail user permit.
John Lorenzen, of the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, appearing on the KSOM DNR report, stated the new law merges the trail user permit into the annual snowmobile registration fee, allowing for a more streamlined process without increasing the cost.
