LUBBOCK, Texas — Despite taking the week off, Texas Tech saw movement in the latest Associated Press Top-25 poll. The Red Raiders slid one spot to No. 7 in Sunday’s updated rankings.
Entering this week, Texas Tech was knotted at No. 6 with Oregon but the Ducks picked up an impressive win at home over then-No. 16 USC on Saturday. The victory vaulted them over the Red Raiders and Ole Miss, who was previously above both teams at No. 5.

In the USA Today/AFCA Coaches poll, Texas Tech saw no changes and remained at No. 7 after moving up one spot last week.
The Red Raiders get back on the field this weekend, with a trip to Morgantown, W.Va. on the schedule.
