KAKAʻAKO, Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi (KHON2) — This afternoon, Nov. 23, Ocean Safety responded to a 911 report of a woman found face down and unresponsive in the water in the Kakaʻako area.
Around 1:45 p.m., an Ocean Safety rescue jet ski was deployed to search for the unconscious woman. She was found approximately 50 yards off Kakaʻako Waterfront Park, near the surfbreak known as “Flies,” Ocean Safety said.
She was safely retrieved and brought to shore. Lifeguards promptly began CPR, doing everything they could before transferring her to Honolulu EMS care…
