SILVER SPRING, Md. — Police are asking for the public’s help after a man was ambushed by strangers waiting outside his house in Silver Spring earlier this month.
According to the Montgomery County Department of Police, the home invasion and robbery happened in the 800 block of Orchard Way on Nov. 12.
Investigators say the victim was leaving his home in the early morning hours when he was hit in the head by two men who had been standing on his porch. The two men reportedly kept hitting the man in the head and dragged him into his home, where they then demanded money…
