- At or around 3:45, units from the Chino Valley Fire Department and the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to a possible explosion on the 4200 block of Sierra Vista Drive in Chino Hills.
- Arriving units found one home completely destroyed and a neighboring home heavily damaged.
- Eight residents of one of the houses were transported to a local hospital with injuries ranging from mild, moderate to severe per the Battalion Chief on scene.
- Southern California Gas is at the location working to disconnect gas to the residence, and are expecting to to work through the night to complete the task.
