DETROIT – Dozens of Detroit residents experiencing homelessness or financial hardship received winter gear and warm meals Saturday during an early morning community support event at Cass Park.
Detroit Change Makers and Mt. Olive Grand Lodge distributed more than 100 coats and 150 sleeping bags to those in need.
