ALPINE, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office released body camera footage Friday of a deputy-involved shooting that occurred at a home in Alpine on Nov. 5. The incident left resident of the house, Robert Edmund Liddell, dead.
The shooting occurred at Liddell’s home located on Kyrsten Terrace Court.
The video includes excerpts of the initial 9-1-1 call to the Sheriff’s Communication Center, made shortly after 6:30 p.m. It confirms a neighbor is identified as the reporting party who called to request a welfare check on 72-year-old Liddell after she stated she was unable to contact him and observed his front door was open…
